Topic: Acute Coronary Syndrome - Shared Care to Optimise Outcomes

Acute Coronary Syndromes causes almost 1.8 million deaths per year. This session will look at the effects of Covid-19 in this area, and risk factor management in a virtual setting.

Theresa was first elected to the ISHA Executive Committee at the 2019 AGM in UCC, and again at the 2022 AGM hosted by UCD. GP employed, she manages the Nurse led Student Health Centre at SETU (Carlow campus). She is qualified as an RGN, Coronary Care Nurse, Specialist Practitioner in General Practice Nursing, Registered Nurse Prescriber (RNP) and as a Teacher of Science, Health Science and Nursing Studies. She holds a PhD, is a registered Teacher with the Teaching Council of Irelandis an FSRH and BASSH accredited practitioner, and

NMIC CPD modules on contraception

The NMIC recently launched 2 CPD modules on contraception on HSeLanD - the first module is an update on the methods of contraception and the second module is on contraception use in specific populations. Each of the modules has been approved for 2 external credits by the Irish College of General Practitioners.

Completion takes just three easy steps: 1) Read the bulletin. 2) Answer the 10 MCQs that follow. 3) Evaluate the module. Once you achieve a score of ≥ 80%, you can download a certificate of completion with 2 external CPD points.
