This years SunSmart Campaign has commenced and will run until the 30th of September 2023. The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of the steps that can be taken to protect our skin from the sun and to reduce the risk of skin cancer in Ireland.

The Public Health advice for COVID-19 has been updated and from this Thursday, 30th March 2023, COVID-19 testing is no longer recommended for the vast majority of people.
In line with this new advice, community testing centres across the country and the self-referral portal for ordering PCR tests are no longer required, and both will be closed as of 30th March 2023.
HIV Ireland has today welcomed the publication of the review of the National Sexual Health Strategy as timely, noting the continued reported rise in rates of HIV and STIs in Ireland. The review was commissioned by the Department of Health in advance of the preparation of a new National Sexual Health strategy for Ireland.
