A new update has been added to the Chlamydia trachomatis page on http://AntibioticPrescribing.ie (March, 2022)
Azithromycin is only recommended as the treatment for Chlamydia trachomatis if Doxycycline is contraindicated. If indicated, a single dose of Azithromycin is not recommended and a 3 day course is required.
