Recommendations for the use of COVID-19 vaccine AstraZeneca® in Ireland – NIAC. Published 1st February, 2021
The National Immunisation Advisory Committee (NIAC) was asked to consider the data published by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in relation to the authorisation of the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca® and to provide any advice it may deem appropriate to the ongoing delivery of the COVID-19 vaccination programme, in respect of the following issues: − the use of the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca® in older adults; and − the COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca® dosing schedule. » read more

The assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults was prioritised by the HSE Mental Health & Clinical Design & Innovation, in conjunction with COPI as a Clinical Programme due to the absence of such services in Ireland. It will be delivered as part of the HSEs mental health service provision & across government departments to ensure a holistic, integrated, person-centered response. The programme applies to all clinical stages of the disorder & works collaboratively with voluntary agencies. » read more
