Maynooth University is a dynamic public university of approximately 14,000 students. As part of its support for students the university operates a Student Health Centre.
The Student Health Centre (SHC) is a busy and dynamic practice, providing health care for the Students of Maynooth University and Saint Patricks College Maynooth. The SHC is part of the Student Services team, comprising of the Student Support Division, Counselling and the Creche, which provides a wide range of personal supports to students. Student Services is committed to supporting and assisting students to achieve their potential, using a holistic approach, throughout their University journey.
We are seeking to appoint a General Practitioner, Clinical Director, to lead and develop clinical services in the Student Health Centre. Reporting to the Director of Student Services, the Clinical Director will work alongside the Student Support Officer who has administrative responsibility for the SHC. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive medical service as part of a multidisciplinary team, to all registered students. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to develop further the range of services provided in the SHC to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the students and the University. This post will be a term-time post aligned with the Academic calendar and student activity.
