Sarah was elected to the ISHA Executive Committee at the 2019 AGM in UCC. She currently works as a Student Health Nurse at Cork Institute of Technology. Sarah qualified with a Diploma in Nursing from DCU / Beaumont Hospital in 2001 and completed a BSc Nursing at RCSI in 2006. She has a background in general nursing and worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager in the HSE before joining the Primary Care sector as a Practice Nurse. Sarah has been working in Student Health at CIT since 2017. Sarah's interests include health promotion and sexual health. She completed a foundation programme in sexual health promotion with the HSE in 2018 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sexual Health Advising with Staffordshire University in 2019. She is currently a nurse prescribing candidate at RCSI.
