HSE Open Access Research Awards 2020

The HSE Open Access Research Awards were established in 2014 to encourage and reward open access publishing in the Irish health sector.

Submissions are invited from across a range of disciplines in health and social care.

Criteria for Entry

Entries must fulfil the following criteria:

  • At least one author must be employed in the Irish health services
  • The research should be available in full text in an Open Access forum (and added to the Lenus repository, pre or post entry)

Entries close on Friday November 7 and the winners will be announced in December. Enquiries about the awards can be directed to lenus@hse.ie.

Online Symposium 2020 Global Health Education Ireland Symposium

This event is free to attend but registration is essential.

The theme of the meeting is 'Learning from COVID-19 – Improving Health for all Through Global Health Education' and the event will address key challenges facing workforce development and growth in low- and middle-income countries and how to incorporate sustainable solutions into medical training in Ireland.
