About this Event
We are in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and it is becoming increasingly clear that the current crisis is having a serious impact on people's mental health and the mental health sector more generally.
As the national coalition on mental health, Mental Health Reform is well placed to provide a space to explore the impacts of COVID-19 on the mental health sector and the new context we find ourselves in. "Coalition Conversations" is a series of weekly webinars, hosted by Mental Health Reform, to connect with experts across the sector and facilitate discussions on important topics during this unprecedented time.
As we continue to be confronted with COVID-19 and the uncertainty it presents, people's mental health and wellbeing are likely to be impacted. While the full psychological impact of the crisis is yet unknown, measures and supports are in place to respond to and alleviate these effects. During this webinar, we will be joined by Dr. Phillip Dodd who will provide us with an overview of the work of the HSE COVID-19 psychosocial response group. We will also be joined by Eileen Cunningham, manager of Midwest ARIES, who will share her experience of adapting to and delivering recovery education during this time.
The webinar will be delivered via Zoom and you will receive a Zoom link with details upon registration.
