Launch of Nurses & Midwives for Inclusion Health & networking event 29th Nov & workshop 10th Oct 2019
Nurses and Midwives for Inclusion Health: Partnership in Practice is a new professional interest group of nurse and midwife practitioners working in contexts where access to/uptake of health services is limited as a result of ignorance, marginalisation or discrimination.
They have issued an open invitation to attend their inaugural networking event and launch on Friday 29th November, from 9.30am-4.00pm at the INMO, Richmond, 1 Brunswick Street North, Smithfield, Dublin 7. Registration for this event is 25 euro to cover catering and administration costs and places can be booked here: www.eventbrite.ie/e/nurses-and-midwives-for-inclusion-health-launch-and-networking-event-tickets-71061537973
Prior to that, however, they will host a helpful (and FREE!) workshop - 'Posters, Presentations and Papers', which is designed to support nurses and midwives with poster, presentation and journal article preparation. This will be held in the School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health, DCU on Thursday 10th October. The workshop will run from 10.00am-12.30pm, and will then be repeated again from 2.00-4.30pm. Though the workshops are free, places are limited, so early booking of tickets is advised: www.eventbrite.ie/e/nmihdcu-posters-presentations-and-papers-workshops-tickets-71065022395
